Dear colleagues:

Mark Engebretson will “retire” on Friday, February 13, 2015, following 15 years of service as editor of the Lake Country Sun and many years of service to the industry through our regional press associations. While many of you may be aware, some of you may not know that Mark has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Graham Newspapers, Inc., will host a retirement reception for Mark on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the PK Lake Chamber of Commerce community room, 362 North FM 2353, near Graford, TX. Any colleagues and friends close enough to attend are welcome. I’m sure Mark would welcome cards from others. It would be appropriate to forward them in care of the Lake Country Sun, 617 North FM 2353, Suite 4, Graford, TX 76449-4309. My staff will ensure Mark receives anything arriving by Thursday. We will take cards arriving later to his home.
