2015 North & East Texas Press Association Scholarship Recipients

SCHOLASTIC SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT:
DEMI MANLANDRO

The North & East Texas Press Association Scholastic Scholarship is being awarded to Demi Manlandro, a student at Heritage High School in McKinney.  This scholastic-journalist has contributed to the Tiger Pause Newspaper, The Tribute Yearbook and the online publication Pack Page.  She is ranked 19th in a class of 446 and has a GPA of 5.047 on a 6.0 scale.

COLLEGIATE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT:
ANNA HEROD

Anna Herod, a freshman at Texas State University in San Marcos is the NETPA Collegiate Scholarship recipient. Her college GPA stands at a solid 3.53.
In addition to vast experience in high school and collegiate publications, she has worked extensively in community journalism including the Burleson Star, Crowley Star, Cleburne Star and Joshua Star.
